Up to 180 guests
The 87-foot San Juan catamaran is the largest event vessel in Cartagena. Ceremony on the top deck, party under cover, and the walled city as your backdrop.
02
One vendor, not eight
Vessel, open bar, catering, DJ, flowers and photography all come from us. One person answers your emails and one contract covers it, instead of coordinating eight suppliers in a country you don't live in.
03
We have done this many times
We know what time to leave the dock so the sunset lands on your vows, where to set the altar so the wind doesn't ruin the hair and the veil, and what happens if it rains. That part is not improvised.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests fit on a catamaran wedding?
From 20 on a mid-size catamaran to 180 on the 87-foot San Juan, the largest event vessel in Cartagena. We also do intimate weddings for 10 or 12 guests on a sailing yacht.
Is the wedding legally binding on board?
The symbolic ceremony happens on board with no paperwork. The legal part is signed on land before or after, with a notary or a judge, and we walk you through it. Most couples from abroad marry legally at home and celebrate here.
How long does the event last?
Five to eight hours is normal: boarding, sailing, ceremony at sunset and the party afterwards. We build the timeline backwards from the hour you want your vows.
What if it rains on the wedding day?
The large catamarans have a covered lounge, so the party carries on. If the Port Authority closes departures for weather, we reschedule or refund the deposit.
Do you also do the welcome party or the farewell brunch?
Yes, and it is one of the most requested things we do. A sunset catamaran the evening before to welcome guests flying in, or a post-wedding brunch out in the islands the day after. Quoted separately or together, as a wedding-weekend package. see the wedding weekend page.
How far in advance should we book?
Three to six months. In high season —December through January— the good dates are taken almost a year ahead.
Do you speak English, and can we pay from abroad?
Yes to both. Your planner writes in English, the proposal comes in English with prices in COP and USD, and you can pay by international transfer or card.
